This site is a tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore who was born in Keighley in the West Riding of Yorkshire on April 20 1920 and has been set up by his brother officers and soldiers of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment.
Much has been written about this amazing gentleman's life since his fundraising exploits that lifted the nation during 2020. Those who knew this proud Duke before he found a place in the nations hearts would not have been surprised by the tenacity, determination and humour he showed whole raising £33m for the NHS, and we are all grateful and incredibly proud to have shared a cap badge with this true hero of our time.
On behalf of Dukes everywhere - thank you Tom, we salute you.

RIP Captain Sir Tom 💐 thanks for your service and kind service to the NHS .....VFC fellow Duke
Captain Sir Tom you led such an unassuming life until April last year, you were a hero already having fought in WW2 in Burma, you then had a family and carried on with life, then the world met you! I have never been so proud to acknowledge the regiment I served in 1DWR, the very same regiment as you, you are a remarkable man and if I can assure you that your legacy will continue for as long as there is a former Duke alive and then some RIP Sir Tom VFC
RIP Sir Tom you gave us hope. VFC
